Add items to the store

1) First log into your Mainspring account

2) Find the page with (Store) next to its name. To the right of that page is a set of options: View, Edit, Manage Store, and Delete.

3) Click Manage Store. This will bring you to a place where you can start adding items to the store, it will also display a list of items currently in your store. If you're just starting out, it won't contain anything. As you add more items to your store, this page will have a longer list of items.

4) Click Add an Item. This will bring you to a new screen where you can add information about your new item.

5) Fill out the form with information about the new item.
Here's a description of each field:

Item Name: Type the name of the item here. This should be fairly short, one or two words.

Item Number: Paypal uses this number to help you identify the product that is being sold. If you don't have item numbers for your products, just retype the Item Name here.

Category: Make sure to fill this one out. The information you type here helps shoppers more easily find the item they're looking for. If your item is a Donation, then the category would be Donations. If your item is a shirt, then you should type something like Shirt or Clothing here.

Price: Type the price for the item. Don't include a dollar sign.

Currency: Select the currency type. For example, if you're in Australia, you'd select Australian Dollars.

Availability: Select the product's availability. Available means that the item is ready for sale. Unavailable removes the item from the live site, but keeps it in the list of items. Temporarily Out of Stock

Description: Type a detailed description of the product here. This can be as long as you like.

Item Image: If you'd like to include an image with this item, [upload] your image here.

Post Date: If do not want this item to be available until some date in the future, select the desired post date here. If you want the item to be availalbe immediately, ignore this option.

Optional Fields: For example, if you're selling a T-shirt that comes in five different colors, you can type the five different color choices here.
